We made it home

After spending the last few hours buying pressies and topping the last part of the tan up we flew back from Bridgetown and arrived home at 6.30 in the morning.

The hardcore AF staff were straight into the office for another hard day of work!

Planning of 2007 is now underway, if you want to come start promoting Affiliatefuture merchants and it could be you.

Last Day

Just been present shopping and just about to pack. One last afternoon on the beach and we fly home tonight.

We've had such a great time...roll on next year. We've all got our beach towels down so your all going to have to work hard.

We'll have some tour profiles coming soon.

Day 7

After a little too much to drink the night before, day 7 was pool day! We chilled to the core, aided by a few cocktails.

Enjoyed watching Italy beating Germany :)

Kareoke night! We have some budding singing stars and not so budding. I have some video clips to upload!! watch out

Day 6

Some of the party disappeared in the mini moakes....lawn mower powered cars! It was tropical storm day so a few showers hit the drivers as they have no doors! The guys drove round the island and saw the sites of the island including the famous crane beach.

It took Lee McCoy 10 seconds behind the wheel to reverse into some rocks!

The rest of the party disappeared into Bridgetown, for some excellent food, duty free shopping, the sites and the rum factory tour! Have the famous bajan smilie and some rum tasting we stumbled back to the hotel!

We were given some sad news when we got back and knowing what he would have wanted most of decamped to Harbour Lights to drink all we could! Mary and Tom have only just got out of bed 36 hours later! Photo's and dance footage to follow.....

Frosty played nightwatchman and was the last to bed at 7.45am!

Swimming with the Turtles

Day 5 in the Big Affiliate event! Half the group went sailing up the west side of the island on the cat. Swimming with the Turtles and a huge mantaray, washed down with a few drinks and a feast of chicken and fish.

There are 2 main rules on the island, one don't mess with the rum and number 2 don't mess with the sun! Yesterday was a day of messing with the sun!

In the evening Mr Costa took us all for meal in sufer land. We relaxed in the beach bar, playing some darts and sleeping in the hammocks. Life was hard!

Today is road trip day as cars have been hired.

Day 5

Half the group have just jumped on a Cat for a cruise up the west coast. The other half of the group appear to be dead!

Photos will be coming soon when we can get hold of some USB cables.

Back to the beach!

Day 4

I'm not sure we should talk about this morning. We crossed the road and sat in the sun watching the football...enough said! Not a good start to the day.

After a day on the beach with the Virgin Cabin Crew we were in for one of the best nights of entertainment ever.

Back in the UK there have been some pole dancing incidents with a certain James Little. Well last night he came of age and won the local dance off! Cheered on by a packed Irish pub he didn't fail! It was then followed up by Mrs Holiday Watchdog taking the ladies prize!

The Real Day 3

Having got the drinking out of the way, it was time for a sensible day. A little football, some trips into Bridgetown and lots of sunbathing by the pool.

Friday night in Barbados is a cultural experience as we headed to the fish market where they put on loads of music and a big fish fry. So we sat on the beach and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Day 3 or maybe day 2!

Day 2, ok so day 2 did happen. We parked ourselves at Accra Beach, one of the best beaches on the island. Quick swim and a sun bath and for some unknown reason we ended up in the beach bar playing drinking games! Please bear in mind this was 11.30 in the morning and some of us had only got home at 3am! If anyone is reading from St Minver or Holiday Watching...neither of your guys can play the name game!!

Queue carnage as the beach bar was exchanged for the managers rum punch party...we drank the bar dry! Then off to the Ship Inn. For a night of local regga with a fantastic local band.

There was more to this evening, however i was put to bed! Thank-you Mr Frost and Kerry!

Day 2

To be Confirmed!

day 1 - we made it!

After dragging myself out of bed at 5am, we all made it to the airport. A couple of people had issues with the 7.15 meet time and arrived at 8.50 (10 mins before it shut)-Mike please have a word with your daughter! Quick mac d break for us, those that arrived early enjoyed the hospitality of the lounges, thanks Priority Lounge.

8.5 hours later we arrived in Barbados, the non flyers seemed to survive, although i've never seen Nic Cordingley so quiet when we hit some turbulence. With Rachel Hunter wandering through customs we knew we had arrived in style!

Hotels wicked, rooms are really nice and the bar is by the pool! We were welcomed in true style with some rum punch by the manager! A few beers later we took ourselves off for a quiet meal. The quiet meal included half a cow for those of us on the burgers! The cocktails were flowing for some....and the lack of measures caused some distress!

The affect of jet lag took their toll and people started to hit their beds. Playing the good host I took those wanting to beat jet lag out for a few beers and an introduction to Harbour Lights. It cost $40, about 12 pounds for all we could drink! Much dancing....Mr Little the Pole Dancer was back! We will get some pictures uploaded soon! By my reckoning we crashed into bed after 27 hours!

Up at 7am this morning for a fry up and some early morning sunshine! Just putting last night together so there maybe some updates to the story!

We're off to the beach shortly....life is hard on the affiliatefuture conference!

Apologies for spelling, i'm having issues!!

Holiday Extras are helping us sort out the car parking at the airport...thanks guys.

Not Long Now

Only 3 days to and i've started packing! Well actually i've just found my passport but the thought was there!

The climate in Barbados doesn't change much, with temperatures steady between 28C and 31C, we will see a little rain while we're there. The rain is lovely and helps clear the atmosphere, it's usually one quick shower at night. Wednesday is looking good though http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?world=0292 Here's a local web cam if you want to see the sun now http://www.nibblecs.com/Nibble/METEOSTATION/default.asp

So what am i taking?

We'll shorts, t-shirts, sun cream, and flip flops! The England Shirt is packed for a trip to the Whistling Frog or maybe Bubba's Bar. We do have the slight semi-final dilema if we make it through as we'll need to find a TV at the airport or rely on Mr Branson's plane to be late!
